On Friday, July 23, while attending San Diego International Comic-Con, I ran around like a madwoman, rounding up as many of my favorite kids comics creators as I could and asking them all the exact same questions. My fifth interview was with James Kochalka, creator of the Johnny Boo series, which makes every six-year-old boy I know giggle uncontrollably. He’s probably best known by adult readers as the creator of the American Elf webcomic.
